Normandy france my step dad is thinking of booking up to go may next year
Small lake 4 swims with a bungalow included.
Looks a really nice place just would like some more info

Fantastic venue and great little set-up. Not the easiest lake being so small but when it switches on it switches on and plenty of 40lb fish present. I used the portsmouth - cherbourg 3hr crossing and then a litte 30 min drive on the other side.
Will say i saw it recently on a french estate agent site up for sale???

As for the crossing do you know how many sailings there was ???looking online at the moment theres only one but that could be due to covid19???

Yes, the 3hr Portsmouth - Cherbourg sailing is the quickest from Portsmouth specifically and is on their Catamaran. This usually has very limited crossing options and (be warned) the boat can rock like a good'un in high seas, so can regularly get cancelled.
From memory there are two crossings per day during the summer months, but I may be proved wrong - it might only be one.

Think Chris is correct with 2 crossing in the summer months but the 9am - 1pm (3hr crossing) is perfect for getting there at 2pm.....

I would use Cell or Petes ultra crayfish......providing Pete is still there.......

I have used SL and Freezer baits.......
In the bungalow is a folder with pictures of the swims before the lake was filled so you can see the bars etc.......

Not personally but Will is a good guy so should be no problem I would have thought.
Just to add Email can take a while to be answered so best of ringing Will if you want a quicker response.....

I believe the lake is now being run by majestic carp

To the guys that have fished carpinvasion are there any local shops near by????
We might be getting transport there and back so going to be without transport whilst there.
Dont mind phoning a taxi to run us to a local shop if we need supplies though
