I've got more mainline - probably too many. I've heard of the proper job never used them will have a look. Essential cell soaked in northern special is one of my favourite combos

In reply to Post #19 The pop ups cant properly lift a size 4 hook up, they just arent boyant enough. Ive caught loads of fish on them, but as wafters, not pop ups
I use proper jobs, either nutty maple cream or tuttis, and have done really well on ccmoore ns+

I’ve never had a problem with there 12mm pop ups or the krill wafters I actually really like them

In reply to Post #18 Can't say I've ever had problems with the pop ups - Atleast noticed problems. Are they that bad?! What pops up do you use?

In reply to Post #13 They make excellent slightly more boyant than a bottom bait, bottom baits
And the pops ups make great wafters
Which leaves only pop ups missing from their range

In reply to Post #14 Thought manilla was mainly a winter bait and it has been very successful. never really used it as a summer bait haven't been carp fishing properly long only 3rd year/summer coming up. Been swapping and changing so much but then haven't really fished anywhere very challenging if that makes sense - this year will hopefully change that once I can get out. But to be fair I've fished all winter so cant moan 😁

In reply to Post #1 Not sure about any hype as I don't really do social media, never used Sticky either so can't compare, but I have used S7 since it came out, it has caught very well for me here and abroad, it's also a good winter bait. I have no affiliation with DNA, I returned to angling to find Nutra Baits all but gone so with heavy heart gave S7 a try and I rate it as highly if not more highly as NB of old, for my own purposes.
EDIT, Having said that I've not done much in the U.K the last 2 years, perhaps S7 has blown...I wouldn't risk it :-P

In reply to Post #1 I have brought some myself to try this year along with the SLK, I didn't get out but my friend had 4 on 2 short morning trips before the lock down over a mix of the two baits.
Most of these modern baits seem more than up to the job, they list the ingredients and there's plenty of stuff in there to get the fish interested and keep them coming back.

In reply to Post #8 Sticky baits 12mm pop ups make excellent wafters
Been my go to in solid bags for a long time

Maybe it's just the hype around the DNA.... I've used the manilla all winter and in 5 sessions had 20+ fish and 2 PBs.
Maybe ill go with the krill then as I still have a 2kg left. I'll soak and prep it for when we finally get out.
I might have a look at dna liquids then to maybe compliment the krill..... What about hook baits? I've got alot of mainline pop ups/wafters... Few sticky.....
