In reply to Post #5 It's not about abrasion resistance. Fluorocarbon is not the line for fishing in weed. No benefits, some major disadvantages, the main one being it will bed in and lose you fish.

In reply to Post #1 I use the 18lb and can get a little over 80 yds with a 4oz lead if needed . But really use it at much shorter distances. As for using it with weed. Why would you want a line that could bed down in weed 🤷♂️. I prefer it to xline

I have it in 16lbs from memory. one of the better fluoros i’ve used and no real problems. Casts reasonably for a fluoro.

Morning , anyone got any experience of this flourocarbon ? Does it do what it says ? What’s the aabrasion properties with weed like ? Does it cast ok ?
