Most teenage lads already own such a device however it's not perfect.

Called simply the 'hoodie' it creates a minimum distance of 2m from the wearer. However at present it only seems to work on a percentage of the population - the elderly, young families, people in unfamiliar towns and cities. Other teenage young men seem immune to it apart from a strange side effect that makes them mimic the wearer....

Shakespeare wrote King Lear during the plague too. Seems they had plenty of time on their hands.

There will soon be a Covid rig

Positive thought for today. ..

Isaac Newton was stuck at home during a plague outbreak. He used his time productively and ended up developing his theory of gravity. Maybe there's a new Newton out there somewhere on the verge of another discovery...

Actually... I lent him my Bat Out of Hell album back in the mid 80's and I've not seen it since....

Might be giving him another call soon...

Spoke to a mate this morning who I've not heard from in ages

I expect there's a lot of that about.

Had a really good laugh about our late teens / early twenties and the drunken shenanigans we had.

Yeah. I walked for an hour earlier along a road that is normally a traffic nightmare. No cars, just lovely fresh air....

The air is getting cleaner. There’s 8 stars visible over me right now. That’s about 7 more than normal!

Daily Express today...

"Health Secretary Matt Hancock claimed last Wednesday 3.5 million of the kits – described as "game-changers" by Boris Johnson – had already been ordered. But yesterday the Department of Health and Social Care was forced to admit the Government had not yet bought any kits due to hold-ups related to testing."

The government apparently agreed in principle to buy these and paid? Like I said, confusion.
