A No.10 spokesperson said: "The rules allow for you to make visits to enjoy parks or the sort of leisure spaces, but you can’t stay overnight."
The new government guidelines read: "You will still not be able to use areas like playgrounds, outdoor gyms or ticketed outdoor leisure venues, where there is a higher risk of close contact and touching surfaces."

The way I've read it, it's not clear unless there's been a separate statement specifically for angling

agreed

been on to one of my usual venues and they are opening with a prior booking system with the bailiff
don't turn up unless booking confirmed
on site toilets not open
no visitors and no walking around
one person a time in the anglers cabin
8.00a.m. to 7.00p.m. only
2m distance in the car park and on the bank

all sounds simple and sensible enough. I'll be waiting a bit still but nice to know there's a plan

Does anybody know about the legality of night fishing following the easing of the lockdown? Embryo are holding back on opening their lakes until they're sure nobody will get any hassle for camping.

no doubt there will be a seconadary second spike.
amber ED dealing with covid issues
green ED dealing with day to day a&e admissions

Green ed starting to get busy with injuries that are not "sitting at home related"

First hand info from my other half in Yellow ED.

The usual a&e stuff will be the straw that breaks the A&E camels back with general pr1cks going out and doing what they do.

That’s the fear Braders, a second spike

I’ve been back at work two weeks now. This week a lot more have come back and places are getting a bit more crowded, not good at all.

It’s all personal circumstances for me and people should do what they believe is best for them and their families. My risk rate has gone up as a consequence!

From a fishing perspective, now I can go I should be perfectly fine. Hardly see anybody, will just start with a few days to get me a bit of solitude

I wouldn’t touch a circuit water for weeks!
