Open to more than one interpretation, fisheries and and anglers have certainly accepted what they have been told by a third party that has no authority. Forget the must return home no campsites to open no camping blah blah blah who cares anyway.

I never said he broke any "rules". You don't understand the meaning of the word ambiguity i take it.
The guy asked if there was a government statement on night fishing. Which there isn't. Nowhere in the "rules" does it say if you and your wife are suffering from COVID-19 symptoms and have children of a certain age. Live and work in London but have family anywhere in the country, get in your car and go and stay there.
But you can and could. So again, if you are struggling with interpretation of the "rules" use it to suit what you want to do cause it's legal to. Ambiguity.

I dont think it should cost him his job either. I think the outrage and coverage is because he was involved in creating the lockdown rules, only to bend them and do exactly what he told others not to do, even though they technically could have done it, as he has shown and the government has backed up. People feel aggrieved by it.

Not to mention the reckless driving when he potentially couldnt see...like it's an acceptable excuse.

I for one don't think it should cost him his job, after all none of the labour mp's who have been caught breaking lock down rules have been sacked and its barely been mentioned in mainstream media, funny that, but just because he is a high profile brexiteer it's the biggest story of the year. Plus to be fair whilst I've been working all the way through this virus I must have seen 50 - 100 people a day doing much worse than he's done, including people I know personally and they're the ones slagging him and Boris off all over social media, and yep you've guessed it they are all anti brexit and anti tory.

Cummings did nothing outside the rules but the media have whip up a frenzy, read the rules then ask why are the biased media lying and gunning for him. Oh yeah he was the man behind the brexit campaign and the eu are pulling remainders strings to weaken the government.

Things are going to be relaxed even more from 1st June so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Fish, travel, carry on. I've lost any belief I had with these clowns, it's going deeper than public health.

Well the place I fish is open for nights so that's good enough for me.

Plenty of other places are also open for nights and no one has been asked to close their lakes when the sun goes down.
Make the most of it.

So you haven't then. Neither have I. Question answered. Will use my common sense as usual. No problem.

Yes, that's the best I've seen. Ali Hamidi seems convinced but it all still seems to be interpretations of ambiguous guidelines.
