Can't have much in it if you won't buy gear.

I haven't bought kickers, that was my thought of an alternative.
I've been using a recycling container for probably 20yrs

I really love this Yonny, us pedants must stick together. He asked for a cheaper alternative to kickers. I gave him one, secondhand/used kickers. I know I'm being a numpty but I can't resist this.

I don't disagree with you mate. But the fact is he asked specifically for an alternative to shrink and kickers lol.

Recycle your kickers. They will last forever. Have alittle recycling pot in your bag for all those little rig bits you can snip off and safely reuse. Save you a fortune over a season

I read it just fine. I dont see the point in sacrificing the neatness of a rig by using products that 'will do'. It takes seconds to snip a bit of shrink off and steam a new bit. Some of the monstrosities I see on Instagram etc suggests that others are obviously happy casting out rigs that I would even show anyone let alone use.

Or a bit of shrink tube. Literally takes seconds to snip it off and resteam a new bit if/ when you need to change hooks. I dont fish waters where I need to change hooks that often (dont get that many bites!) so in my mind shrink tube is a lot less clumbersome and neater

Apart from shrink tube, any ideas for cheaper alternative to kickers?
I wanted something that can be slid easily like the kickers and cheap too

Thanks all
