Spomb for me, I've tried a few different spods etc, but the spomb is still the best availible.

Similar in size etc m8, but flies and retrieves better, and as you say can use 1 handed.

Hi Daz
How does the Dot Spod compare to the midi spomb for size? looking at about 110 yards distance. I like the idea of single hand filling.
Cheers Tony

I've used them all apart from the spider, only carry 2 dot spods with me now, no need for anything else.

I use the Dot most of the time, along with the midi Spomb for long distance. Didnt get on with the Fox one, it stopped closing properly and kept opening on the cast.

I actually rate the fox one for light baits but if you let it dive that retrieve is a right ball ache.

And you can get them in pink, what more could a man possibly want.. 😁... I’ve also tried them all and go back to the spomb... Found the fox one useless, the dot wobbly and difficult to cast exactly the same time after time...

I've used them all Phil. The dot is best for heavier baits but crap for light stuff. The fox is decent but takes some getting used to. The spider is ok but not at distance. The air bomb is good for what it is buy not a solution to regular baiting imo. I keep going back to the spomb.
If you're using heavy baits (boilies or wet particle) check out the dot. If not, I'd stick with the spomb. It's still the most versatile imo.

I’ve been a faithful spomb user for years, and my lastest workhorse has given up the ghost. This is the first time I’ve had to replace a spomb when there seem to be valid alternatives on the market, so before I buy another spomb, are any of the alternatives actually better? Interested to hear from anyone who has used the alternative delivery methods and how they compare. Cheers.
