Made 2kilo and hookbaits worked really well.. was getting better at rolling by the end but most ended as barrels lol mix is perfect not too hard not too soft.. tried a bit and it tastes very strong.. strong fishy strong milky strong GLM.. hopefully the dish like it 😁 .. currently doing 3 nights 1st night blank but it looks perfect tonight... got a spot going with the bait and homemade hookbaits. The 3rd is banged out 42.5wraps (170yrds) with a ub baits 14.mm pink plum n squid corkball

If there’s one thing I can help that the lads told me it’s oil. Use plenty at least 3ml per egg of the mix isn’t oily enough. Makes life so much easier

Enjoy it Carpbandit.
And with bait ingredient use & rolling experience you will be able to tell a good bait from a p*ss poor one.
You may in time decide to buy something ready rolled, or stay making your own

Matt it is great to have a go at rolling your own, as you will be able to see how certain elements change baits and give you an idea of texture etc. Plus you can make something unique! Everyone should have a go at rolling

Haha no I've been adding this all up and I was really thinking last night, maybe I should have just bought some hnv pro lol.. it was a close call as I have wanted to try that bait..not to mention I've bought a cheap rolling table and mixer.. cost keeps adding up
I've always wanted to do this tho as you all know I'm a bit obsessed with bait
I think the ingredients I've bought now equal what it would cost to have bought hnv pro.. it's another angle on it though where I can do fishing 'stuff' when I cant get to the lake

Now you can understand how a hnv bait cannot be sold for 5 pound a kilo!

Fast breakdown is gd, I have dedicated hookbaits and will be spodding so no issue if it is soft.. I will just add a little extra milk I think.
I paid 14.99 for a kilo of calcium casienate

If the mix is good already I wouldn’t want to be adding to much. Put some of your own attractors in to it. But I wouldn’t alter the already good mix to much.

It could already be at the peak solubility. Adding certain mills and Glm could make it break down to fast unless that’s what your after of course.

Hi all,

It's a bit late for you now Carp bandit, but for milk products, always check on My protein and Bulk powders before you order from anywhere else.
They are constantly offering discounts and sometimes as much as 40%+.
I recently bought 2-5 kgs of milk protein concentrate, now called milk concentrate powder 80% protein for about £10 a kg delivered from My protein and 2-5 kgs of hydrolysed whey protein isolate 90% protein for about £15 per kg delivered from Bulk powders.
Just compare those prices and protein contents with ingredients like GLM etc.

BB.

Added some calcium caseinate to my order so will use additional additional 40gram per kilo to make up to 20% milks

So I could add an additional amount of milks to make it even better or would that not work against the other ratios?
I've also bought some GLM to add to it
Also what milk from BAF would be best to add as I would add to my order

OK, so the other 45% is:
20% CLO
10% semo
10% soya
5% brocacel
