Seagar fluorocarbon. Look on eBay. 19lb or 23lb is best. I use both

will say I test every hooklink I tie to 80% of BS before use with scales and don’t ever recall one breaking but I’ve probs only got through maybe 3 spools so perhaps I’ve been lucky

I also has an issue with the Ghost snapping. In fact it's the only link I've ever had a problem with snapping. Was a long time ago now, maybe just a bad batch but I though it was useless tbh.
The IQ is decent imo.

I've never had problems with iq. However as others have said, you may be getting cut off. If so you need to look at a much more abrasion resistant hooklink. Have you noticed any wear on your mainline near the hooklink?

My advice would be to consider a totally different hook link material , something that won’t break as easy !

You should be able to tell how it's gone chap by looking at the bit you have left. Generally if it's gone on a snag it will be fairly clean cut or show signs of abrasion, if it's just snapped will show signs of stretch. But if you insist on a change then go for the esp gear, they don't do rubbish

Ghost is good stuff, although I'm surprised you've broken iq. When you say break, what's happened?

Iv had a couple of breaks on the Korda IQ so lost all confidence in it. I’m just wondering what good alternatives there is out there. Iv been looking at the esp ghost but is they anything else?
