Surely that's a simple calculation. Total positive tests - total deaths = Recovered.

I don't think the realignment of figures will make that much difference. People have still died and maybe this virus has taken people before their time. the last 3 weeks have shown death rates below the national average so who knows?

I understand during the first month of lockdown every CV should have been recorded because of or with. But this country have never posted recovery figures, check worldometer. This lack of moving the posts shows in our figures. According to the figures in the south east we have the second highest number of infections, behind London, but the 2nd lowest per 100,000. so unless they adjust this alogarithum we will end this pandemic, as of today, with 294,000 CV deaths!

If not dead or in hospital, anyone over a month after infection should basically be shown as recovered unless their symptoms are ongoing. But this was used with deaths as scare tactics to keep lockdown in place!

Current and new infections should be the focus at this stage its still out there and doing damage!

Recording accurate death numbers for COVID-19 was always going to be difficult. I think everyone understood that. The reasons for deliberately false recording are different, I don't think many understood that was going on.

Can't remember seeing any UK cars in the area of the Dordogne that i was in , when usually it's every other car !

@ocelot I was referring to the fudging of the numbers/false recording

You mentioned what was going on mate? Reasons for potential false recording of COVID-19 cases or furlough fraud.

I did imagine how smug you mustíve been feeling while hearing and reading this the past few days
Itís obvious really, apart from being a nation of slightly more rotund people there is little reason we should suffer so much more than neighbouring countries.. unless our nhs and care homes failed to shield the vulnerable and made characteristic **** ups with routine care, which no doubt is Borisí fault

The furloughing scams are out of order as it is only firms that can actually do it. An employee can't furlough themself.

But I guess no employee is going to blow the whistle are they?

Mate those figures and stories will all come out in the wash. We had a knock up amongst our dart team now pubs are open and some of the stories are worrying. Ones a caretaker at a home, he reckons they were putting down "COVID-19 symptoms" on death certificates cause the home got extra funding if they did. Ones an undertaker and he was saying that they were getting that put on the certificate cause it speeded up the burial process. Ones a heavy goods driver, worked all the way through but now on 3 weeks holiday he's accrued, his firm are claiming it back as if he's on furlough. 2 are landscape gardeners and they've worked all the way through but their boss has claimed they were furloughed, same with a kitchen fitter from our B team.
It's an expensive shambles and it's firms at it more than employees.

Check with the ONS first if they will be collated into Spainís CV deaths 😀 apparently the way this country have been catorgorised is wrong, so if you tested positive in April and recovered then in July hit by a bus you are still a CV death because you tested positive at some stage!

I donít expect a big downgrade in numbers but it needs to be revisited who died with or because of CV Or because they tested positive at some stage 🤷🏼‍♂️

100,000 mink at a farm in Spain to be culled after farm workers test positive for COVID-19. The majority of the mink tested positive also.
Who's infecting who?
