2 days ago i was threatened with the sack from my customer , due to the "lack of progress" over the last month , she is in rented accommodation while i extend and renovate her house , we are up to first fix stage for electrics and plumbing , sparks first day is today , luckily i know him well and he has agreed to, jump in there , chopsticks !

She has apologized since , dose of cabin fever mixed with that other thing they suffer once a month !

Also think that she is a bit worried as she has been having her arm twisted and has now had to enlist as a volunteer to do covid 19 testing as she works for the council ! wonder if she will get the correct ppe , shhh hyperbole lefty nonsense !

Here's something to think about. We had a Tesco delivery last evening and I wanted to thank him for what he was doing, how much he was helping us. I offered him a drink but he said no thanks, said: not long ago we were just grunts, menial workers, nothing more. Now everyone thinks we are some kind of hero. It's taken this to show ppl our worth.

Makes you think.

As a Decorator I'm disgusted , but not surprised 😠
Personally , I stopped all work on the 23rd of March , all my customers understand , I doubt I'll be back till June .
People still don't get it do they 😈

Something very similar happened to my mum last week. Stuck at home, she decided she'd like the living room repainted, having spoken to one of her friends who's recently had some decorating done.

Within 12 hours of her telephone call, some **** of a decorator had been round to 'have a look at the job' and give her a quote. No mask, no distancing, no nothing. My mother has seen no one since the restrictions were put in place, I do all her shopping on line, but this **** told her not to worry, it'll be alright.

My father in law. That has had the letter to stay in for 12 weeks etc.
Has just sent us a pic of his haircut. He only has tufts around the ears.
He rang his barber, the bloke came round yesterday.

They havent seen family for weeks. When I drop supplies off Its in a wooden box and left on the driveway and all that carefulness. And then he does that. Pointless.

Have I missed a couple of days or something. Is it all over?

Our local hand car wash is now open and social distancing guidelines have been withdrawn 😡

Who gets their car washed at the moment by hand and by strangers you don't know!

Had a test like that for meningitis once, I'd rather have an anal probe to be honest

Hope all is well with your sister.

That's very unexpected! and yes that's fine Ken, knock yourself out - saves my sis doing it...

Thanks all for the good wishes. She had the test this afternoon - took them about a day to get to her as she'd first been added to their list yesterday. She said it was pretty horrible - right up the nose and down to the back of the throat. Up to 48 hours wait on the result.

I fancied them farm girls something rotten. Is it OK if I fancy your sister?

My thought are with her and with you. Good luck.
