You may be right👍🏻

But I may be wrong here but is it not linked to 111 if you register symptoms on link🤷🏼‍♂️

This why it needs a full explanation and not 5 mins on daily government briefing 👍🏻

My mobile provider has my name and bank details to pay the bill and I'm sure if I was up to no good the police would have authority to know this.
I'm guessing the only way to remain truly anonymous is to buy a pay as you go and top it up using one of those top up cards?
Maybe I'll start a bidding war on my Nokia 3310

I imagine plenty of people have an old phone in a drawer that they could get a sim card for and use just for the virus tracker app. This wouldn't pose any risk to other data on the phone and would be anonymous.

You need to supply a copy of your identity card just to get a sim here (originally 'because of terrorism') so they know what you're up to and where you are anyway.

Wayne, you're wasting your breath.

You could tell me your neighbour's dog has got 4 legs and a tail and I'd assume it was bull****

Edit: Fishie - I think someone said that the alarm would be raised once someone tests positive, not just develops symptoms.

I think itís open to the person to report they have symptoms then it triggers the warnings but I wouldnít put it passed people either not to report symptoms and then there are the ****ers for a laugh or causing disruption by reporting when they donít have symptoms to **** the government over 👍🏻

Looks like the supermarket may not be a problem anyway LINK

Same story in the Telegraph but behind a paywall LINK

Research conducted by Prof Streeck in one of Germany's worst-hit regions showed that the home of one infected family did not have 'any live virus on any surface',

I've always believed skimmers use Bluetooth to clone the phone/access the phone.

I wouldn't have thought so, it's got to be made dead simple for people to use if they want maximum take up.
If anyone thinks this app could be dangerous please tell me why, maybe it's me, maybe i shouldn't be so trusting?
BTW I don't do Facebook .

Edit
I have a thumb so the mods have my name, address and phone number. Good job I trust them

Bumped into the landlady of my dart team's boozer yesterday, she said the owners have looked at several plans for reopening. Social distancing and opening is a non starter due to not being worth opening up, so they're not expecting to open til September.

Sorry to be nosey but do you do online banking?
Reason i ask is I have a mate who's paranoid he even turns off his broadband router when he leaves the house in case someone hacks into it. Just wondered what other peoples thoughts are.
What is it that you think might happen if you use this new app?

Chuffy - your point is a good one about the supermarket. Would you rather know you'd been in proximity or not? Not a loaded question, genuinely interested. I think I'd rather know. I think...,

hmm, to be honest I think I'd rather not know, I reckon I'm a borderline hypochondriac as it is

Thinking about it I never usually have my Bluetooth enabled either unless I'm connecting to the van or something
