FFS mate why dont you bore off only 1 of my close family or friends work for the NHS I have never claimed the 80% was my figure itís the ONS figure. Go speak to your brother who knows everyone and 2,500 tests and see how many of the 1,3 million have returned positive antibodies as heís well in with the testing program.

Search for UK CV data and low and behold pillar 3 testing data (antibody) over 1,3000,000 tests done.

I'd agree if it was an across the board lockdown, but it's a bit daft to say that's the cause of the rise in numbers whilst keeping the shops, pubs and restaurants open... maybe it's a plan to boost the north west economy. 'You can't meet at home but you are ok if you are out spending money.

I can see a full lockdown coming for us soon unfortunately...

And of course the coppers isolating is right. It was more of a 'you couldn't make it up' reaction with the situation

Nine officers come in contact, 13 others also self isolate as precaution until tests give them the all clear.
All being sensible IMO

You've a good point there though - I'm sure we are not the only place where the pubs have been bonkers with those in supposedly less risk groups doing whatever they want.

Wouldn't be so bad if they were building more hospitals and replenishing their stocks of ppe instead of bragging of how well we are doing and maybe a few more nurses , as promised !

Just been chatting with a nurse , she is dreading this winter !

Is it not fu**ing obvious . the people who are spreading this are predominantly the young , who , are still allowed to meet in pubs and spread to the rest of us asymptomatically !

What a load of bollo**s

In Blackburn, we've had the masks rule in shops etc. for a little while longer than everywhere else and still even today there are muppets who are refusing to wear them...

Meeting other households in the pub is still ok though....

This is what Hancock has said

'The spread is largely due to households meeting and not abiding to social distancing. So from midnight tonight, people from different households will not be allowed to meet each other indoors in these areas'

Now - how he can say this as an absolute fact when he's pi**ed about with half truths, false data and ever changing advice on something as simple as wearing a mask is beyond me, but there you go eh?

Separate households banned from midnight tonight meeting up indoors in Greater Manchester, East Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire after a rise in Coronavirus cases.

What an absolute mess and itíll get a lot lot worse I fear.

That's lucky you know so many NHS staff and relatives that didn't even think they had caught it that have been given access to an antibody test. Out of 1.4 million staff according to your figures 130,000(where's that information from) have been tested roughly 8.5% of total staff. The only antibody test is a blood test.
