I made order from one German tackle shop, this price was sale price (normal price before was about 350€)
My alarms were in water, fishing under hot summer days, rain storms, foggy weather,snowing...zero issue!
So easy to use, so simple but very very reliable bite alarm! I will never sell it

Agreed.
Carp Sounder alarms are not cheap and nasty, they are just CHEAP and very far from nasty. I am not sure if Tomas Flauger is still involved, but if so you can take that name to the bank. Brilliant alarms.

Last 4 years I'm using bite alarm from German manufacturer -Carp Sounder.
My model is Carp Sounder Super IT 3+1. Reciever have 1 on/off button and a wheel for tone volume, simple as that. Reciever range about 100 yards (I didn't tested them more of that). Bite alarms have on/off button and and wheel for volume and tone option. Very simple.
I choose them because they are very reliable, simple and they have some "unusal design". Waterproof, built to last in every weather condition. During 4 years of usage I did not have any issue with them (fishing on 40C, heavy rain, snowing). In reciever goes 4xAAA batteries (2 sets during fishing season), in alarms goes one 9V battery (in my case they last 3 years). Warranty-3 years, cost about 200£ in Germany.
