Design over function. Maybe the Orientals will make it smaller, lighter and cheaper - but I still wouldn't buy it.

In reply to Post #67 no flux capacitor lol,he did come across a little eccentric. he did say he uses this system and it works really well (he would though wouldnt he)
he also stated that the alarm heads alone are more technologically advanced than any other alarm out there at the minute. if anyone gets chance to speak to him at the next show have a chat with him,he seems a nice genuine guy.

In reply to Post #67 Agree, the underwater gubbins solve a problem that never existed. I cannot see anyone being interested in that. But the alarms look good imo.

Look at the size of the receiver thingy that you have to drop in the margins, for scale that’s an alarm head in the foreground. Seriously who’s gonna lug that lot around?
Either I’m seriously missing something here, and I’m prepared to accept I might be, or this might just be one of the most crack pot ideas to emerge in carp fishing in the last decade.
So unless I’m mistaken, these transmitters and receivers and supa technical alarm heads etc are designed to tell you the leads moved? You mean just like a twenty quid fox microns been doing for twenty five years?
And all this extra weight and faffing about and charging stuff up and lugging round a large breifcased sized box gives you the ability to eliminate false bleeps? Like every alarm with a sensitivity dial can already do?
I don’t know anything about the guy that’s invented this contraption, but I’m willing to guess he’s got mad white hair and that he invented this after he slipped and banged his head on a toilet. If anyone spoke to him at a show, did he mention a flux capacitor?

In reply to Post #64 Nah, it's 20 year old asbos that think they know everything that's ruining it lol.

In reply to Post #63 he must know,I think he was too scared to even mention it,he was getting some grief off the local asbos when I was there,I listened to what he had to say,but these blokes barged in as he was half way through delivering his information and basically just mouthed off and shot him down. they were mouthing off saying what's carping coming to and its ruining carp fishing...they looked about 20!!!
the guy did say he uses the actual set up in the picture on the website and says it works like nothing else out there. he claimed the alarm heads on their own are more advanced than any alarm out there now, even the new delkims.

In reply to Post #62 Can't be much of a business plan if he's got this far and has no idea on price lol. I'll bet he knows exactly how much they'll need to sell for.

yes just read that on the website,1cm and the range of the heads to the underwater receiver 150m,I asked about if you crack off and he said the tx heads by the hook link would be available separately...not daft is he...he said he had no idea about price to me an my mate

In reply to Post #58 the alarms can be used without the margin receiver and hook link sensors without all the wires
