Cheers lads I went for the iron claw mount in the end it just seemed that little bit more robust 👍

I mount mine on the motor part of my electric outboard.
Not sure if this is do able for you. As depends on the transducer.

I use a cable tie and have it just tight enough to hold the transducer in place but can rotate it when I'm transporting it.

Have to be careful in shallow water.

As its infront of the propeller data quality is not effected as long as you are going for wards.

I use that one too with the sounder I have now. On the sounders I had before I just screwed the transducer onto a piece of wood and used a clamp to mount it. If you have the transducer on your transom, then a piece of wood and a clamp is just as good, but now I have the transducer mounted on the side of the boat and the transducer mount is better for that because you can adjust it in all directions.
