Tel20
Not been on here for a year.

I've sent him a text to see how you/anyone can get in touch with him if you are not on FB.

edit:
Telrck1@gmail.com
Let him know I sent you, he's an old pal of mine , although that won't get you any discount

That's interesting. With these rods I can definitely chuck a 3.5 further than I can a 4.0. Never tried 3.75.

Terry Edmonds did recommend a 3.75oz lead for casting on 12ft 6 TE's to me when I spoke to him on best set up.

Suppose with the right set up and technique you could still hit 30 wraps with a 3oz distance lead.

Put your 3oz lead in a small pva bag that will put the casting wt up to about 4oz to 4.5oz, way cheeper than getting new rods.

Torrix TE would compress and do that distance with 3oz. 3.4lb TC I beleive. Casting rods that retain some fishing playability.

There might be better more up to date options but these would work.

Hi,
My new syndicate has a 3oz max lead rule.
My current rods are 13í Free spirit Hi-s-Ives.
I donít feel that Iím getting the best out of them with a 3oz lead, Iím thinking of getting some Lighter rods that are easier to compress with a light lead but still able to hit around 30 wraps.
Does anyone have any recommendations from there own experiences.
I have big reels and am using low diameter 12lb line.

Thanks Matt
