I think Braders means all GLT lines. I've ordered via phone to BAC and got the normal Proclear a few times when everyone else was out of stock.

The fox line does cast well but snapped like string when I used it.

Iím at the point now at getting pro clear or distance. 16lb pro clear is slight lower Dia than pro distance in 12lb

But pro clear is not pro distance, they are different lines. Despite the name pro distance is not as good distance casting line as pro clear.

For the original poster, if you can get some 16lb pro clear that's probably the best your going to get for distance. If not you could try fox Exocet.

Agree with this Proclear is the best casting line Iíve used by some margin. Is there a leader ban? 50lb braid leader will increase your distance and eliminate the poss of crack off as those donít sound like forgiving rods.

I know it's possible mate, hence why asking people for the line they reccomend.

Let's add to this,
I'm using 13ft 3.75 X5
Shimano Black Mags
15lb Gardener GTHD

I'm hitting 35 wraps, just, with a calm wind, however I believe with the right mono I can get further.

I done 137 with 15lb sensor straight through with a 3oz zip that was with the cotswold pace rods when they first come out. So with right rod and reel set up it's possible.
