In reply to Post #1 I use a korda zig box, use 2 of the reels for zigs, one for leaders and the 4th for hinge stiff hooklinks. they curve perfectly around the foam reel, then when i need to i jist take one off and tie it to a pre tied boom.

In reply to Post #8 Haha that's what i did.
An old ovaltine plastic jar, pipe lagging cut to length so it fits in the jar and map pins to hold the rigs on.
Does the job.

Have a look at the Trakker nxg Stiff Rig Pouch, I purchased one recently and found it excellent. Each side of the wallet has different size curves to keep the rigs natural shape. Not cheap but does the job, so a good investment. Post 3 link is the one I have

In reply to Post #1 Use Amnesia for the booms which pulls perfectly straight without the need for steaming (and costs pence). If you want a coated alternative, Tungsten Loaded is brilliant. I used both extensively this Spring and didn’t have to steam either at all.
Have a load of hook sections ready to go in any old tube and tie them on at the lake... it only takes 30 seconds to tie a blood knot

Trakker have a rig case which have the large round section for the curved bit & straight section for the boom.

In reply to Post #1 Rig bins are good , then just add the boom section to Suit on the day. I also store the.mm in a normal rig wallet and the form them before casting or Steam before casting if needed.

How are people storingbr these to keep the nice bend in the chord section but the boom straight?
Is it a case of tying on the bank or steaming out the boom every time?
Cheers
