In reply to Post #1946 I fish over baitworks Royal marine if that means anything.
Confidence is key though. Its funny, I have the most confidence using pink baits, that's what i catch the most on, so that's what I mostly use. But the man next to you only uses white and can't buy a bite in pink. I regularly fish 3 pink s2s very tightly on one spot, and then say how I have no confidence in yellow baits as I never catch on them. Of course I don't, I don't use them
Anyway I forgot what I was talking about. Oh yeah, S2s till early spring, then GPB1/2's till late autumn for me, and I doubt I'm the only person here who goes that way.

In reply to Post #1946 I understand your issue, I know you like bait. Stick to ONE fishmeal and you will catch.
You use decent food bait.
Marks baits don't need to match anything, find feeding fish, fish well and patiently over bait/s or particles of choice and the fish will find your FOOD hookbait.

In reply to Post #1946 IMO you’re barking up the wrong tree with how you think Marks baits work or need to “complement” the feed bait. But I’m sure he’ll put me right when he’s back 😂

In reply to Post #1945 I know what you mean I loved the S2s they taste amazing if you touch one on your tongue.
I am just so confident in fishmeal baits though and I've tried all year on my syndicate with different coloured popups and bright hookbaits but I only ever catch on match the hatch and occasionally washed out pink.
As i say would love specialised to do a B5 or red fishmeal variant, bet they would sell like hot cakes. Im a big fan of GLM as an attractor and I'm also trying out a bit of essentials newish garlic bait so I think that's the one to go for

In reply to Post #1944 What this guy said.
Pink crushed Cork S2s. Fished as a single, or over bait. Confidence in a pot.
I wouldn't worry at all about trying to match the hookbait to the bait your feeding. I've had numerous fish this year very shortly after baiting heavily, or whilst still baiting, situations where it was pretty apparent the first bait picked up was my hookbait.

In reply to Post #1941 Fairenough, I've used the s2 and the GBP1s b4 but really like the idea of the glm and fishmeal added to the GBP2

In reply to Post #1940 As far as I’m aware the price is the price, just look at the information contained in this thread, probably tells you everything you need to know.
They’re special and different baits, quite unique in their make up, I have nothing to do with the company, just happily use their products with confidence.

In reply to Post #1939 Does anyone know, is there a discount code or anything associated with carpforum members? Thought I'd ask before putting an order in. Want to try the GBP2.. Tried so many different hookbaits now but just can't settle, but I do like the look of these!
Is there any plans for a red fishmeal based bait like the essential B5? I would be all over that!!

We were completely up to date with all orders up until this morning. Everything went out today. Xmas post is now slowing stuff down though. When I get back from holiday, F1 will be available immediately to all, no need to message now. Lots more Bug too. Cheese launch date will be when the site can be sorted. New pages needed. Hopefully before Xmas. That will happen ASAP.
How’s work today? 🤪🥳

In reply to Post #1931 F1.
As we grew larger, simply having the space and the time to throughly dry the coatings out became impossible. In the winter the coating alone takes five days to dry. That’s after they have been cured and dried five times already.
They are returning with the coating inside the liquids in a different form. IMO they are actually better this way.
