*thread bump*

In the market for some new rods and quite like the look of these.
Very little in online reviews. Anyone here got them?

I dont just own them ! I build them , and lots of them ,ive built on most manufacturers blanks, harrisons are the most reliable , very rarely get any problems regarding blanks, i agree lots of decent blanks about , but if i ever did have a problem i know harrisons would rectify it without hesitation unlike other manufacturers i have had dealings with.

I had a good bend of the 12ft 3.6 and I have to say for the money I thought on first look they are spot on. Nice action, not stupidly fast tapered and tippy but not sloppy through action either. I suspect you’d be able to bang a lead a fair way with them. I didn’t actually mind the gloss finish either. I’d say definitely in the top end of the mid price rod bracket. I’d like to have a chuck with one.

They look nice. Why they class a 3.6 tc as an all rounder I don’t know. What’s the price range?

Everyone will say the rods they own are the best brand. Utter nonsense as usual. And i own harrisons. They suit me, doesnt mean theyre the best, and who really cares. Theres very few blanks, if any, out now that dont do the job they are intended to do, as well as others do the jobs they are intended to do.

Gardeners new rods are nice, but will split opinion cosmetically. Most rods are sold with matte blanks now, these are glossy. Branding looked nice on them though. And price wise, rrp isnt a million miles away from a set of customs
