In reply to Post #11 Dont worry mate, I know that they sell a dedicated rod bag for their 10ft rods because they have longer handles

In reply to Post #10 I have a pair of the 10ft 3lb and I just don't like them.
What's the standard handle length for a 10fter? I'll measure the handle if you like
If I want a short rod I tend to take the korum opportunist I bought my son, much nicer rod to use and much more feel through the blank

In reply to Post #9 Am I correct in thinking that they have longer handles compared to the usual 10ft rods?

In reply to Post #7 Looking at vids and pics I would suggest 40's.
But I've been wrong before....

Any long term reviews on these?

In reply to Post #3 Can anyone confirm if these are rung with 40mm or 50mm butt rings?

In reply to Post #5 Yeah good price for these rods. Not much info on ring, I think they are 50mm

In reply to Post #4 Eric's are doing these rods very cheap this weekend. Think it is £36 for the 10ft and £45 for the 12ft.
Are these rung with 40mm ringing?

In reply to Post #1 I had a quick look and waggle of these the other day as I was looking for some 10ft beefy cheap rods for my river fishing. I must say, for the money, they seem pretty decent, and they have a line clip which a lot of others in this price bracket don’t. I could get another 9ft Harrison at £250 and or get 3 of those Avids for less than £150 and it doesn’t really matter too much if they get knackered/pinched/broken. Yea, they won’t be as “good” as a top class rod but they’ll do a job where there’s loads of overhanging trees and fishing in the edge. 10% off this weekend at a lot of places so a bit of a bargain I reckon. They’re also 3k weave along three whole blank if I recall correctly so they look rather nice compared to some of the competitors offerings which mainly only have 3k at the butt section.
Other ones worth a look at are Wychwood and Sonik.

In reply to Post #1 Fox Warriors are good rods for around that price range, think they are £60-£70 each.

Hi
Looking for opinions/reviews on these rods.
I'm after 12ft 3lb and at £55 these look good on paper.
Any other suggestions with a similar price are welcome.
Thanks
