I am in Cornwall and have booked Furzebray for a week in June, looks like the best available venue in the County. I will do a review after my trip!

Thanks Gents.
Would anyone recommend Newton Abbot angling club? particularly the Rackerhayes complex?
I've heard mixed things about it.

Lakeside, diggerlakes are close to you mate.stafford moor, furzebray and milemead are a bit further a field but not to far that it's out of the question all very good places

Syndicates you have emperor (very hard to get on I think m its invite only) and shefs fishery (I think its called)

Agree about Town parks, although I did prefer this to Newbarn Farm (which has just been taken over so may be better going forward), but these were rarely visited as I only went there when visiting the inlaws who used to live in Paignton. Neither would be attractive as regular venues but both tick a box for convenience from Newton Abbot. Lakeside View is a nice place with improving stock. Owner is a decent bloke as well so would recommend a visit there to try out

Ive fished digger lakes and like it there and lakeview does look pretty good. ill check out the syndicates you mentioned.

Plenty of day ticket options. DIgger Lakes and Lakeside View both near Cullumpton both good shouts. Closer to you there is Town Parks and Newbarn Farm (in Paignton). You also have Furzebury not too far away (some great fish in there at the moment). Can't help with syndicates in Devon I'm afraid, but going up into Somerset you have Velocity and Godney Moor

I'm about to move to Devon (15 mins from Newton Abbot) and i'm after some advice on venues please.
Im aware of NA angling club but have heard bad things about the Rackerhayes complex, so im not sure about that one.

At the moment im thinking more towards Digger lakes as i have fished it once before. however day tickets get busy and expensive.

Ideally im after a club or syndicate where i can get on with my angling in peace and with like minded anglers, with a decent head of fish.

Any help much appreciated
