that information can be intercepted by people if they really wanted to. If you are just sending bank account number to someone to pay something into then no real issues, if you are sending your debit card details over - stop!!!

I would always pay through paypal or in person on the classifieds on here anyhow. saves any arguments.

What about when people PM each other personal details, when buying selling in in the classifieds for example?

it means that the data you send is not encrypted - and that is fine, as the data you send appears on the site.

HTTPS is for when you send personal information so that others cannot intercept it.

So, when I get on the carpforum site in the search bar it says: Not Secure - carpforum.co.uk

Is this a problem with the site or at my end?

It does not do it with any other site. Any IT experts thought?
