Fished it a couple of years ago and they had just put dye in to keep the weed down

Wind picked up over night and was blowing into my swim .... I swear in front of me was about 10ft of scum that was like the blue stuff people put in the toilet cistern, Everything i touched was covered in this blue dye and had to change the line on all 3 reels
It was a feckin nightmare
And I blanked and only one fish caught in 48hrs

Does it still have a thousand swans on there ?

Went for a social in December, we've referred to it as swanhurst ever since , they were a nightmare as well , picking up our lines all night, stupid yateley swans , don't have that trouble in ringwood

Hi mate,

Itís a Great Lake and all swims are good for a fish.
The pipes, bailiffs or car park are all poplar swims.
Are you going for an exclusive booking or going per normal?
Worth checking how busy itís been.
Does get weedy but plenty of spots to be found.

Look on YouTube for Jamies Smiths walk around sandy where he describes all the swims.

Regards

Wayne

Looking to book my first trip to sandhurst and just wanted to get some reviews on your experience on the lake. Is there certain hot pegs or can you catch all over. I see 22 swims can be booked out 31 so does this give anglers a good choice of swims. Any feedback would be great

Thanks
