I've used Ronnie rigs in solid bags on a three inch boom made with soft coated braid and not had any problems

It can tangle when you are winding the rig back in but as yonny suggested, it's more likely nuisance fish.

That could suggest you've been done imo bud. Possibly tench/bream etc? If it wasn't tangled when you loaded the bag, something has tangled it.

Many thanks, the last couple of times when I have reeked in the hair has been tangled around the hook.

Hi, has anyone used a bait swivel or baitscrew instead of a hair rig to attache the bait?
