Perhaps not having proper direction is a good thing?
Having so much diversity may be the reason it has lasted so long?
If we all pull together we might end up at the end of the road.

PS
Thought the Vass thread was amusing

Iíve definitely noticed a slower pace in the forum as well as less wind up merchants which I enjoyed reading.

Perhaps a good example of the somewhat misguided posts is the current Vass wader thread where a few people are having a harmless and humerus pop at those donning this product. Alongside this thread in catch results in an angler cradling a 54lb monster that I could only dream of landing.
This angler is of course wearing said waders.

Basically what Iím poorly trying to observe is that sometimes the forum lacks a little direction

Yes, very busy and at my age very busy is more like extremely busy to a younger fitter person.
Yes again regarding skirt, Iím not the handsome dashing swarve chappy I once was, so I tend to make the most of any female attention that comes my way nowadays.
I had resigned myself that I was going to have to get more used to my own company, which I like but, am happy at the chance to try and change that.

So far, so good and I suppose the fishing will have to wait. I was never that good at it anyway.

"I know a few who have give up on the fishing when a sniff of skirt is in the air too."

Standard. You're not right in the head if you don't do that.

Nice to finally meet you Brian.

Some MODs chose to stop being MODs for a while. Thereís no rule saying MODs canít ever take a break, the choice is thereís...not mine or yours. They can be MODs again anytime they like.

may be in month or 2 mate

Sounds like you're a busy man, I hope the renovation is going well. I know a few who have give up on the fishing when a sniff of skirt is in the air too.

To be honest, this time when I logged in i did notice a lot more posts, so could have been a blip? Yes you're right regarding other forums, or what's left of them.
I'm not posting here much, probably because I'm not fishing much either. I want to get out and fish a bit more, just no time right now, renovating an old property, and trying to keep a new relationship going along with work is eating up any free time.

Summer's coming, so there's hope.

You could well be right?
I can only imagine how much busier it would be, if you and one or two others stopped signing in as often?
