I would have said the pb had a green tint to it, i used it years ago in 0.35mm i found it cast very well palomar knot definitely better than a grinner. I cant really comment on abrasion resistance as mine didn't see enough fish action!

Been using the 15lb version for a couple of seasons and love it, Iíve had no issues with it at all. I fished a lake in France last year and decided on Big Game 25lb due to cats running over 120lb, that stuffs indestructible and cheap as chips.

It does sound good but some reviews suggest it may not be the best against gravel and mussels etc? It's hard to know without trying it I guess.. we all fish different waters with different obstacles.
I was also looking at sls specimon mono from rigmarole in a low diameter like the 12lb 0.30.. as it's supposed to be incredibly abrasion resistant.
I guess while the water levels are high I am less likely to have issues with the gravel bars so probably a good time to try the pb control. Can also go back to something thicker/tougher in the summer if I feel I need to. I do love a new line

It's a light ish mid grey colour, I use it in the 0.35 and 0.38

Carpbandit, I've had some proper tussles with weeded fish and it was good

Do you find the abrasion resistance is as good with the on control? Im thinking about stepping down a diameter to get a few extra yards, was debating whether to try the pb control in 24lb or go with 12lb cm90?

I agree with previous posts that this is an excellent all round line. Sinks well, casts well and has minimal memory, which is why I love it. The only negatives that I would mention is that it sticks out like a sore thumb in clear water.
