I was told that too.
I had to settle for the Mk 2 also..could find no original ones at the time.

A brand new original receiver sold a fortnight ago for circa £70...only one bid IIRC.

Two alarms and receiver in the cordura Delkim storage case made £140...only the one bid
The decals were well worn though.
Those "cult" facebook pages have a lot to answer for...prices are nuts IMO.

There is a man called Daletronics who is highly recommended to repair or upgrade any quality alarm/receiver.
He has a facebook page and I'm fairly sure he used to build alarms for Dekim when they first started..

Lloyd Reynolds is yer man for conversions of Optronics and similar too.

I’ve sent my mk1s std away last year and they put new reeds in and reset the speaker on one and resealed, came back like new alarms. Sure they could do this to txis too?

I have a set they are good alarms, but way overpriced imo the parts are becoming very hard to find for them if something did go wrong, I had a faulty receiver 10 year ago and delkim refused to repair it, I think a lot of people jump on the “oldskool” bandwagon when selling to bump the prices up when in fact your buying an second hand electrical item with no warranty/spares available for not a lot less than a new one.

Cheers lads
Had a set of the standard Mk1's in 2000
My current nevs are a bit knackered now so need replacing soon don't fancy any of the new alarms around today
except perhaps the tlb pluses

Great alarms but personally wouldn't pay more than £225 for a set......

Brilliant alarms and receiver. Bought a set back in 2001’ ish which I used for years before my dad took over ownership of them. Unfortunately they got nicked about 5 years ago. Never had a problem with them once in all that time. If I was after a set of delk’s again it would be the old TXI’s

Yes - far more reliable than the TXI+ mate. Great alarms.

Seen a few sets on the bay
Must be a few years old are they still worth the money ?
And a reliable option
Cheers
