Hi Jarod

Is there any reason you don't want to strip it back, tie the knot and then use a rig sleeve to to attain the rigidity i'm presuming you're after?
Due to the fact the braid is coated no matter which knot you use (even self tightening ones) there will always be some degree of "slippage", obviously knot dependant

Best

Palomar or figure of eight. Both really easy to tie and strong as an ox

Take the braid twice through the eye then blood knots, or palomer knot, make sure itís bedded down with spit. Pull it nice and tight and leave a small amount at the end when cutting off

Hi guys,

What knot do you use to tie coated braid straight onto a swivel? I use a standard blood knot for pretty much everything but this doesn't seem to hold with a coated braid.
