When I asked at gigantica about where to put my bottles for recycling I was told to take them with me as they didnít do it as it cost to much.

As a fishery owner for the last 15 years and a registered limited french company I can assure you there is no local or government seperate charge for us doing recycling.. thats why we make no charge. All we ask is that our anglers put their recycling plastic, bottles, cans in a seperate bin... hell we even sort it when we take it down the dechetterie !

All done free of charge at my old venue as it still is now, there is no excuse for charging for waste bags, 1 of the problems was and probably still is that anglers can't be bothered to sort their rubbish as required even given free bags. Glass, cans and plastic and the 3rd category other, how difficult is that to understand, in 11 years many of the anglers I met either couldn't understand it, didn't want to understand it or simply to lazy to make any effort into sorting rubbish, it wasn't rocket science!

Similar experience for me though the lake provided bags and collected rubbish free of charge at the end of the week you had to dispose of glass yourself at the community bottle banks in town. Commercial waste charges are based on weight and glass ainít light!!

Lake I go to In France says you have to take your recycling with you and deposit it in the bins in the town

Its due to the cost of recycling bins for commercial business ?

Youll be amazed how many bottles of kronenburg a dozen fellas can generate in a week

The facilities on site for handling rubbish are quite good, there is a huge weely type bin up at the hut to take all your rubbish at the end of the week and there is also a bottle bank for all your glass. So the is no excuse for leaving any rubbish but i suppose there is always one idiot .The 5 euros Abbey charge does semm much more resonable.I guess all the rules areto cater for the idot as well.I was told the ban on nuts was because a team from Kent turned up with buckets and buckets of tigers and absolutey stove them in.The fish were picking them up and passing them out undigested two weeks later !!!!

Yup, that has become quite a thing those rules on pay lakes, pfff, not my idea of having fun so thanks, but no thanks. Just read in another topic about another lake that eating the complex' food is mandatory. Fck, lol

More on topic, wouldn't surprise me one bit if that recycling bag fee is a direct consequence of one of mr micron's specialities, taxing everything to death.
