You will be fine using them on your free running ledger as well, especially if you have confidence in using them.

Yeah dude unfortunately in my area there a real big no go at most fisheries

Thanks mate Iíll have a little look at how to use a line clip is it the one on the rod you would use or the reel method

Are you sure that braided rigs are banned? Braided mainline is often banned but not often braided hooklinks.

You can fish the IQ d rig helicopter style if you like, but if the bottom is clear where you are fishing my preference would be with a line-clip setup.

Hi everyone Iím new here after taking a few years out from fishing I finally got back into it late last season. I only used to fish on pre made braided rigs and this worked pretty good for me but for obvious reason there know band on all my local fisheries so i was forced to use pre made nylon rigs which worked but not as much as I would of liked. Iv just bought a few pre made Korda iq d rigs and a pack of Choddy rigs. Ino that you fish the choddy rig on a helicopter set up but is that the case for the iq d rig or do I fish it attached to my Mainline with a free running ledger
