I agree 👍
I was iffy about the physical prostate exam but it's got to be done, they also recommend the blood test (fortunately it's A OK)

Yes it's an age thing, but I've never spoke to anyone whose had it done (apart from the consultant)

So yes first hand knowledge from some of the older gents on here would be valuable.

Cheers 🥂 Mike

In all honesty it's no laughing matter I would go for a checkup I know a few mates who have had minor and major problems thankfully all caught in time, I've noticed the last few years I have to pump the old boilie bag to get the last drop out, I had a checkup a few years ago when I started to notice nothing untoward just an age thing unfortunately getting older doesn't come alone.

Hi

Not sure what it's called but he had a monitor and he could see my bladder but he had his finger up my jacksee (I hope it was his finger)

He said it's enlarged. He stressed the blood test are normal.
He actually said if he was sat in the chair he'd take the TURP option. He then said 6 months ago he was sat in the chair and he wished he'd had the procedure it sooner.

I just wonder how long it will be before I can get out in the rods.

As far as farting goes and the 💩 no one would notice a change in behavior 😁

Cheers Mike

A mate of mine had an operation on an enlarged prostate and was out fishing in France with us a few weeks after, he did fart and **** himself on one occasion lifting his leg into the boat, we gave him the swim right in front of the facilities encase of an accident, he said it was a bit uncomfortable still but in the main not to bad at all.

The last person up my ass was a customs officer he was in that deep he lost his wrist watch.

Hi

After years of oxybutynin and other meds I have been to see the specialist and he's recommended I have a turp.

I've had the finger 🖕 up the jacksee and the blood tests and they are clear but the scan shows an enlarged prostate (I'm 60) and had issues with this for years

The specialist said he thinks I've reached the stage where medication isn't the answer and the solution is a turp

So no horror stories as I'm a Wuss but any one on here have knowledge or experience of this procedure I'd be
Grateful

Cheers
Mike
