Don't think there's a tap bud.
Take away menus on the sign near the entrance.

I did a session on Mallard last year for the first time, during August in the very warm weather.
I had 4 out to just under 20lb, all of the bites came in the early hours through to early morning, once the sun got up they disappeared!
They liked a good hit of bait - a couple of others on just fishing bags didn't catch...maybe coincidence?
I'd avoid particles as I also had two large bream early on after baiting with particles...stick to boilies!

I copied this from a PM I sent to another member and he did well. If you can get on fish (not hard, there's loads in there) you don't need to do anything special mate:

Elsons can be tricky at times so if you want runs mallard is the one. There's loads of fish in there including plenty of 20s but even some of the doubles are real lookers. Tactics wise I normally bait a spot and have 1 rod on that with a rover for singles or zigs. Then adjust according to whatever happens. You'll not need a third rod buddy.

As stated below, swan is that bit too easy.

Mallard is perfect for a social where you want to bag a few. Enjoy.

Edit: Elsons can be quite easy early doors on the zigs so might be worth a look. Tends to get more tricky as the season progresses in my experience. Some real nice old fish in there.

Swan cast anywhere with any bait. Mallard pretty much the same, quite easy lakes especially so early season

Hi Yonny...Think its going to be either Swan or Mallard tbh. Not looking for anything really serious just a couple of fish each and somewhere we can have a catch up!

Hi all..As per title. More than likely on here for a social with a mate 1st week April and looking for a little early
season advice as I havent fished it before .Trawled the web and not found a great deal the.. best was probs the DNA offering. Any advice appreciated...boilies/particles...margins or middle (apart from the spot in peg5? as per the DNA vid lol)
