Thatís the small lake, but tbh apart from one lake, I canít see how they can warrant the money for what they contain imo

Nice one for the update.

I too heard all the changes were down to a marriage break down. Shame.

Altho i hardly ever fished there due to the busyness, the tackle shop was always well stocked and well run.

Hi People

Just an update, me and my mate fished there friday was there at 8am met a bailiff (Dick) who said start fishing and I'll come and collect your money which he did some time later, the deal has all gone through although I can't confirm who has bought it, the previous owner came by and was walking the dog, had a chat with her but never mentioned anything (I thought it polite not to ask) had Blunham lake to ourselves, was flat calm no wind overcast together we had 4 carp out to 12lb 4oz lost 1 watched a hawk catch a pigeon and munch on it until there was just a set of wings left gory but nature, spoke to another angler who had been there been there 2 nights on Becks lake, had a few carp to upper 20s all seemed as usual had a great day all told left at dusk

It is steep considering the quality of the fishing there. Plus the fact they don't seem to limit numbers so in the warmer weather quite often every swim on the carp lakes are taken up. I've heard it's actually one of the old owners has bought the other 3 out so doubt much will change either. Some of the fish are getting to be quite a state too, the mouths especially

Still open. Went there last weekend. Iíd phone up before going incase anything changes in the meantime. Was a couple ppl fishing on the carp lake- couple small ones out.
Me and my bro went on winters and I had a 15 common.
Booneys done a couple of fish.

Tbh We were going to do an impromptu 24h at farlows but it was packed so want manor instead.

Imo, what there charging isnít worth what it offers. I thought winters had a good few 30s but a regular informed us there was currently only 2 in there and at £26 for 24h compared to other lakes I find that steep (2 rods)

I was tempted by Booneys but at same price for 2 rods and I think £36 for 3 rods I wasnít going to pay that.

It has massive potential, but needs some bigger fish to warrant those prices.

Also currently no toilet as itís been removed as has the shop.

Another point to realise is Iím sure after a certain time they are not in, and as itís got a barrier, if there not in then you wonít be doing any fishing
