Hi I have just bought one from a/direct really good price. I am 36 waist and played rugby so the large was not big enough . The xl was the right size to get sweat shirt and tee shirt under and be comfortable to move around especially kneel. The elastic makes them quite tight so best to try first. Cheers

Get large, the elastic keeps it snug but let you still fit layers under

Im a 32" waist and have medium, comfortably roomy enough for couple of layers but reckon you might need large

Anybody who has one advise how they size up as they look a generous fit - I'm 36 waist but unsure whether to buy medium or large
