Maybe the shipping is an issue. Companies love to export stuff, but hate to handle expensive warranty claims.

I own an FX200. It has leaked since I bought it.
The problems are in seams, where the original seal has failed. One major failure of about 2 inches, at least 6 smaller leaks at boundary between green and black fabric.
Maybe I got a bad one, maybe it is an issue with their supplier.

Would be a interested if any othe Fox boat owners have similar experiences.
All Fox has offered is more glue, after pressure from my US dealer.

Vortex quit recently as far as I know. Raptor is a really good boat. I own a 2 meter one and can't fault it. 5 years warranty on canvas and stitches too. But I heard really good stories about the Fox ones too. Highly durable but a bit overpriced imo.

I believe Arj had one of the old JRC boats Ken what with him having many mates and contacts with the Pure Fishing Group I dont think he takes an inflatable down these days as you have to leave it there if you use your own so that Pascal knows it's not being transferred between lakes potentially carrying disease, I think he mainly uses the Rainbow boats that are supplied now a few still do and they are mainly using Raptor Boats.
I would hazard a guess he may now own a Raptor in fact I think a few of Arj's other videos I have seen him in a Raptor, pretty sure of it, it would make sense what with it being a Dutch company and probably one of the best boats out there nowadays for price over product.

If I was in the market for a new boat the Raptor X wide would be the one fit for my purpose.

Personally I dont like slatted floor inflatables or solid floor they become heavy for transporting and a bit more fiddly for setting up I prefer an air deck quick and easy, the Raptors are very good inflatable boats as are Seago but it all depends how much you want to spend and the amount of use your going to get out of it, If you can leave it at the lake and it's secure I would plump for an injection molded plastic boat.

It's not carpy green or stealthy black but this is a good price for a 240 with air deck LINKY POO

They look ok but to me over priced

I would rather save a £150 and get a Seago Ranger 240

an indication of a boats quality is the max size of engine you can bolt on it and they both take a 5hp

check it out LINKY POO
