I use the Gardner Duvet bag and love it, used it all year round and found it to be more than warm enough for my needs. I also hate the fleece lining on most bags so for me its perfect.

Been using a trakker 365 this winter. Only complaint is I get too hot in it so end up in a t shirt & pants. Itís not been a cold winter this year though.

I'm using both the old Angling Intelligence sleep system and the new Gardner Carp Duvet.
Both great pieces of kit, even though the Gardner bag is slightly more bulky.

I use the 4 with a cover and that covers me for all conditions. Granted not yet been in extreme temperatures (the lakes I fish don't tend to do well in extreme cold so don't bother) but down to minus 4 or 5 on the odd occasion I have been caught out by dropping temperatures this has done well

I think the Morp 7 is no longer available. I managed to grab my second one from amazon on a whim and because Iíve been so pleased with both that and my 4. Even considered hunting down a second 4 as itís such a great bag.

I have the fox ventec vrs2 bag, its a very warm bag, I do suffer with the cold, and this is perfect.

Cheers for that. Had my reservations about it tbh. As for my Morph'7 I sleep cold so need a proper bag. Its pretty good but not as toasty as Fox hence regret at selling Ventec

its not a proper winter bag. Ok for 90%, but not good enough for minus figures

"Interested in user opinions of new Gardner Compact bag...Obv' smaller but wondered if it is as warm as its bigger brother?"

Me too, but reviews seem thin on the ground. I did have a look at one in my local shop. The thing I didn't realise is that the 'extra layer' that fixes in via toggles is literally just that, one layer. I thought it was a leaf that you got inside or could remove. So that left me thinking you're either sleeping under two layers, and on top of one, or sleeping on top of two layers and under one. Guess what I'm saying is that I'd have preferred a removable leaf, rather than just an additional layer. I can't see me taking a chance on one for this reason...
