Try a Krank choddy on a multi rig, they give superb hookholds

I use different hooks for the multi and the 360 rigs. As others have said, definitely a curve shank for the 360 and I prefer a hook with an out-turned eye for the multi- rig.

Totally agree with the long curve shank from j precision for 360. That is my go to hook these days I love it!
Don't totally agree about multi, i have done well with something like the nash fang x on multi using double bottom baits or popups, it's not totally inturned eye but more a sweeping eye which works.

J Precision do a long shank curve that's pretty hot for the 360.
Any old sharp chod hook for the multi.
Stiff material will close the gape on a hook with an inturned eye. No good mate.

There isnít such thing as a standard pop up rig. A prime example being that the two you mention, a multi and a 360 both require totally different hooks.
As a general rule, stiff materials work best with out turned eyes.

Iíd just pick a rig you like/have confidence in and stick with it if possible mate, otherwise you could spend a fortune on different patterns, materials etc.

Hi Guys,

Which hook would you recommend for a standard pop up rig i.e a multi rig or 360... would you use a longshank for a pop rig?

Also I'm playing with a stiff rig at the moment but what I have always used a a chod type hook but would you use a hook with an inturned eye on a stiff material?

cheers
