I have the trakker composite v2 version (and a fox xl bivvy when I want a bit more room) and i love it, haven't heard of any problem from the MB version but for £160 for it I would of took the risk aswell.
What your find is they just cant sell them for some reason not necessarily a bad thing but that's why they discounted them so much

Probably a good idea to of asked this question before you bought it

Canít say Iíve heard of any issues. But for them to be so heavily discounted Iíd imagine they havenít sold many of them. Bit of a nothing product I think and just bought out for the sake of it? But for £160 I canít see where you can go wrong

I have just bought a MB tempest with skull cap and utility front on TFT's spring sale and wondered if there are any issues with the MB I need to know about? £333 brand new seemed very cheap for all 3 together.

Well I know 100% that the composite V1 skullcap fits the V2 Bivvy System and V2 Air. The Air used to be the same frame size as the Composite, so those 3 were all interchangeable. Since the V2 brolly and later (V3?) versions of some of the models are coming out, I canít vouch for those. Only one I know for sure that wonít fit the composite, is the brolly version, either V1 or V2, because they are slightly smaller.
On another note, does anyone know which of the V2 brolly add ons, fit the old V1 brolly? Is there even a full wrap available for the V2 brolly? Not that I need to know, but could be useful to others...

I've got the proper composite one now.. I'm all set up and happy 😊 rather have the material matching anyway.
The other tackle shops I spoke to said the aquatexx air one doesnt fit the composite.. the frames are different sizes so makes sense.

The V2 bivvy, air and composite skull caps all fit each other, itís only the brolly one that is different size. The top part of the other 3 are all the same size and interchangeable. Sounds like youíve had a touch if theyíve sent you the Air version (Aquatex).

Yea I have mate.. i drove an hr to pick one up today as wanted it for my session this weekend.. it's the fact I went round the houses and had it specifically delivered for Friday paid extra for delivery and an extra £10 for the wrap as if I waited til Tuesday erics were doing it cheaper then they sent the wrong one. It's fine though I have spoken to management and they have sorted something for me, so fair play for that.

Browns definitely had a composite on Friday when I called in. Not sure if it was the metal version.
