Depends on the amount of curve on the shrink tube I would say, depending on this you donít want to close up the gape to much with a curved shank hook that could limit the hooking potential.

I use the Fox ones, you can still manipulate them over a kettle.

i used to use this rig actually on withy pool and always use the esp stuff. did the trick back then. i also used to slide some lead stripped out from leadcore inside the tube then steam to shrink/shape.

I like the Fox Withy Curve sleeves - ive tried virtually all the shrink tube out there and they very rarely hold their shape after captures and need constant tweaking to sit correctly.

The fox sleeves are quite rigid and i like the ridges at the bottom to mould putty around saving additional on the hooklink.

Taska did some tungsten withy curve sleeves that were actually quite handy. You can still get them I'm sure.

For the withy users out there, whatís the best shrink tube to use for it ?
Messed around with it in the past but always seem to have the curve open out and not stay nice and tight!
