Impressive, thanks Scar, after a 6 year retirement just waiting for all of my tackle orders to be ordered and I should be up and running again by the end of the month!

Just realised the bigger fish I mentioned are in Furzebray.

The place I mentioned has at least 32 known 30's in the 10 acre lake some of which I believe to have hit high 30, it was whispered that it had done a 40 but that bit could be just BS.

I have no idea of what you are referring to regarding Culm Valley Angling.

Have a look at the website yourself and you will see a plethora of 30 plus fish on there, where the stock came from I have no idea however, I am led to believe they are from a legit supplier.

Not the same place. Lakeside View has been open maybe 6 or 7 years and definitely has a handful of 30s and little less than 20lb now. Don't think anything is pushing 40 yet, maybe 35 or 36 is the biggest, but good looking stock and nice owners (believe family run)

Lakeside View with fish to I believe high thirty and maybe even a 40 or two by now.

Is that the place run by Culm Valley Angling? If so I would love to know where a high 30/low 40 came from as there wasn't anything like that in there a couple of years ago when it was opened - not even a low 20!

I'm very careful about who visits ... Always provided our own nets, mats, slings and wet gear as well. can't be too careful!

Sad to see the spread of KHV through the country though.

Can't see many anglers crossing over Mark. Completely different clientele (I would hope) which should reduce potential of cross contamination

My bad, Mark. I know at one stage you were very concerned at the proximity of PM to your own wonderful venue.

Furzebray is wicked I'm told. The lovely man who runs it, has been a customer of mine for years. Everyone on them lakes uses our hook baits at some point I'd guess, we sell so much stuff to that area so they must. The same one's Tony always loved to funnily enough.

My good mate has been there a few times, when staying with his dad. He absolutely loves it. Says the fish are very nice indeed, and it's a gorgeous place to fish. I've been friends with Tony on Faceache, for years. So I've seen them fish grow. They are getting big now to.

No need for 100 a night for anything else like Scar said.
