Probably more important Ď look up to see where you are goingí I certainly feel aqua have lost their way as far as quality and innovation goes. And ultimately their reputation suffered as a result. 👎

Iíve had a few Brollys and bivvys over the years but a few have sprung to mind

Tempest v1 nice but too heavy
Fast and light great but the quality of the mk2 is shocking
Wychwood mhr mk2 Brolly brilliant but it misses the 9th rib

Trakker pioneer ultralight brilliant but could do with rear vents so I will keep a close eye on these , as for people talking about peaks .im guessing they have never used a pioneer? There is no need .

For me the pioneer is perfect - in the winter you can use it as a full system and in the summer itís great to use stripped back . The big question is will I buy one ? Maybe but I would defo not part with my original ultra lite , and I have heard of wychwood bringing out a new d ploy . Of which a friend has the mk1 and itís very good indeed .

I really do hope the quality is there with this offering from aqua . Good luck to them I say !

Absolutely my most favourite Carp brand of all time. It used to be years ago I wanted aqua everything. I think if they had made aqua underpants I think Iíd have bought them.

Not anymore. Mass produced, average quality gear with dubious quality control. Trading off of past glories and utterly taking the piss with their prices. Simply not worth the asking price for the quality it is now.

I think trakker should do the decent thing. Theyíve squeezed out every drop of reputation that the business had before they bought it and now should let it die an honourable death.

Cult or did I say ****

Brilliant gear Aqua if Iím honest and a well established and respectable brand. £700 for a tent is ****ing ridiculous

Still, if you want another star on your carp angler wannabe CV. This is it

Limited run of 100 followed later in year by another 300
Bigger than an ultralight and smaller than the original pioneer

Would like to see what the dimensions are for this, same as the Ultralight?
