Really like mine for stalking, had plenty fish to over 30lb in the margins, the smooth clutch is there best feature in my opinion.

I thought about modifying mine but by the time I’d have them up dated I realised I could get a reel that had all the upgrades for another tenner so I sold mine. The SS2600 is a nice reel but not worth trying spending the extra cash on, that’s my take on them and quite a few reels to be fair.

Weston developments sell carbon washers and speed caps they will speed the drags up all available to buy from their website

Good evening

I have heard in previous posts how you can do various mods to this reel.

If I could I would like to make the drag smoother and also make the clutch more sensitive so not having to turn the clutch so much between free running and locked up!

How and where can I get the parts to do this and Is it easy??
