Used to sell something similar (rubberised) back in the 90's, sold as so you can run straight out of your sleeping bag/bivvy in them. A freind had a pair and he did just that, the bottom of his bag was a right mess but he didn't care

Why do you want waterproof socks - I cannot see a reason for these at all.

I really think they are great if your riding a motorbike and want to keep your feet dry

but for Angling I just dont get it ?? I think they are rubbish decent pair of thick woolen socks everytime

Personally no, they made me feet sweat as they just couldn’t breath. Thick merino wool socks for me, I suffer terrible with cold feet too.

Just ordered a pair of socks of the sealskinz web site. Wont cheap at £23 for one pair of socks . But keep on hearing people ranting and raving over there. Have any off you guys using them ? And are thay as good as people say thay are
