Stunning fish bud . I know a few ex trout waters that have thrown up 30's even after 25years of being trout stocked . I think genetics carry though from the big females and down the blood line. Next time you take a photo bud take in front of your shelter or plain sky as your back ground has just given away your location unless you have a parallel lake . If you have put it on face book then that fish will be dead in two years and good luck getting on that swim / any swim again as the circus arrives. Great fish bud but could people on here use the pike forum website.

Now thatís a pike!
Well done and congratulations, would love to catch a 30lb pike. Had them to upper twenties but, never an elusive 30.
It looks really well proportioned, not gutty like some of the trout water pike.

So it's a proper one then Colin! No ones feeding it trout all day long anymore

It is a very fine looking beast. There is a 30lb+ in one of my carp lakes, that's 400 acres though

I shall have a go for it eventually, but my friend has been desperately trying to get it now for a while so not yet.

Well done again Colin.

I don't want you to either I promise! Normal lake though, non trout venue? That's not giving anything away.

Whatever, bloody well done Colin, amazing fish. Don't look like a 'trouty' to me. Looks long, and has a big head. Not very typical of a trout res fish. You're welcome, it only took seconds literally.

From 'your lake' mate, I'm guessing means that it's not a trout lake fish?

In that case.... That's the best fish caught that will get posted on here by a member for a long while Colin. Seriously well done. That is a far rarer beast than a UK 50lb+ carp. Non trout lake 30's are gold dust, as I'm sure you well know already.

Well done again
