I’ve done the pouring into bottles trick... it’s great until it explodes.

Don't mess with the slime, it's perfect as it is.

whats are peoples thoughts on draining the tiger nut liquid from the cooked tigers (messy job) into bottles and adding some additives/powders such as GLM , keeping in the fridge and using to re-hydrate air dried boilies ?

or is the liquid/gloop good enough to use on its own as a soak

Will cooked tigers chop up in the bullit blender or coffee grinder, I'm not sure if they will break the cutters..?

First method was soak in warm sugared water for 24 hours and then bring to the boil / simmer for 20 minutes, back in a bucket with quite a bit more sugar and leave, nothing really happened although they still worked in a fishing situation.

Second batch was just soaked in water for 48 hours with nothing added, water was discarded and nuts put in pan covered with fresh water and boiled / simmered for 20 minutes, back in bucket hot with nothing added and sealed with block paving on top.

I later found the bucket was allowing air to escape hence the block paving.

Recently had this problem Neil with Tiger Nuts from Maltby's, it wasn't the nuts it was me, they wasn't air tight, the next batch I made sure they was and a lovely slime within 3 days.

I added stuff to the first batch and nothing to the second batch so will try a third batch with added bits but resist the temptation to have a peek.

Both batches worked.

I did. Worked a treat. I put a bin liner in the bucket and tied it at the top so it was air tight.

As in letting them slime up?
I think you'll find that's how most guys do it

Reboilng won't do anything chap, and will most likely just detract from them. Just use them as is and do them differently next time
