Any tips for touching up the black paint? Car touch up paint presumably.

First time out found a chip on the pod boss, no doubt from where Id stored the banksticks in the pouch with the pod. 🙄

Otherwise very happy with the weight saving over my 316.

We have been asked several times for a shorter bankstick and will be adding a 5 to the range very soon. When we are back to work I will see how quick we can get some made. If you really cant wait just make sure whatever you choose has a diameter between 12.3 and 12.7 as they may not lock up properly with the no-loss thumbscrews.

Can anyone recommend some 5 black sticks that wont look out of place on the Jag pod to go with the 7? The 9 are too high for me on flat ground. Would prefer not to wait to have them made by Jag unless its going to be weeks not months. Cheers

edit: need to be 12mm diameter so Matrix blackout won't fit.

Only, (obvious) issue i can see with the Prolite xcavators is that they are going to mark up pretty badly, pretty quickly..

Prolight excavators exist. We had several screwed into a concrete block at sandown.

Cheers all.

I know the MPS stuff is excellent, I have the indicators, but I'm totally happy with JAG apart from the weight so I if I can get an identical set up but lighter then it's an easy decision. Prolite Excavators would make it a done deal.

as wayne said I made the switch after gaining a ticket where pushing round 70 acres is the norm , I cut down on other things as well such as the amount of leads I was carrying but the main thing was the stainless . overall I shed nearly 8 kilo in weight which made a huge difference . Not once have I looked back and regretted moving from the stainless to the black .

Not to be funny or a smart ass here, but why not choose for MPS titanium. Best of both world imho.

I went from 316 to Black recently because of the weight, haven't regretted. I kept my 316 safeliners though as liked that extra weight.

mine haven't really scratched up either couple of marks. I prefer the new diamond points on the sticks as well.

Cheers only need 2 x 5" for either front or back depending on whether tips are up or down. Found some 5" in stainless from another manufacturer for my 316 pod and would probably just do the same if went for the black.
