You can make stats look like anything.

In the 2015 election when it came to votes UKIP came a strong 3rd and got bugger all seats. Vote wise they were very successful. If we didn't have a 1st past the post system then no one would need to vote tactically and their vote could've been even more.
Notice I said could've and not would've, trying not to fall into the stat trap

So youíre selectively picking figures from before the referendum then, proper politicianís trick!

Itís a bit like Joe Swindon keeps saying ďLook how well we Liberals have done in the EU elections ď
Heard her come out with the same statement numerous times this week, sheís not saying ďďLook how well we Liberals have done in the EU elections, but the two week old Brexit party still annihilated us by more than double!Ē

If they would only start telling the truth

The facts are Farage/Ukip have put their message to the people in 6 GE's. They've bounced around between 100k votes to a high of 1 in 8 people voting for them. Winning 1 seat out of a possible 3,900. Farage contesting 7 parliamentary seats in election's himself, winning zero. Not very successful and clearly voters had other priorities than leaving the EU.

One trick Pony Ė thatís not true when you look at the facts.

2014 with Farage in charge UKIP totally destroyed all the other parties with 27.5% of the vote.

2019 with Farage in charge a two week old party called the Brexit party annihilated all the other parties with 29 seats of the 72.

I will give credit where itís due, put it this way if Farage is such an imbecile Ė what the hell does that make the rest of the politicians? Because itís a fact that heís totally run rings around the lot of them twice with very little effort, the truth is heís made them look somewhat pathetic.

Personally I donít like any Political party, as Iíve never in my life time seen a single one of them when elected do what itís supposed to do Ė as soon as they get in office they are like a Child let loose in a Candy shop! They all just take the Pi##.

I actually agree with Corbin that the Utility Companies should be in public ownership and none profit making, but all the other stuff he comes out with is for the fairies!

I also agree there was a Mass lies spouted by the Remain Camp before the Referendum, all have proved to have been total Bull Sh##.

Of course Farage is a one trick pony, everyone knows that. If and it's a big if he got his own way he'd probably give up politics and do reality TV or something.
He more or less gave up politics and left UKIP because he thought he'd achieved his goal with the referendum, yes I know he's a MEP but at the time he'd only turn up to taunt Brussels, it was only when he realised Brexit was going nowhere he formed another party and now he's on LBC almost everyday.

Very funny link ken

I'm with you on jo swinson. Sick of old men f***ing things up for our kids...

I get the point about ignoring the referendum but given the huge con trick that the leave campaign was I don't think anyone can throw around accusations of disrespecting the democratic process.

The best deal we are ever going to get with Europe is the one we have... and a stronger position to deal with trump and his cronies.

In my opinion of course.

Farage is a one trick pony. UKIP gone to the grave. Brexit party have a single policy. He's like some opportunistic market trader selling knock off slime to kids because it's the latest craze.

Liberals ****ed their voter base up with the last coalition. They were only growing in numbers in parliament due to taking up the waifs and strays who basically lied to the electorate to get their minimum of £75,000 a year and now face deselection from their previous parties, they actually think they were elected on personality and policies and not the colour of their rosette.

Corbyn whinging about Trump donít remember him whinging about Obama. Also banging on about NHS with only a comment made by Trump 6 months ago who didnít even know what the NHS is! And apparently secret meetings with American drug companies. No privatising NHS what about cleaning companies contracted out, nurses on private contracts and that great Labour invention the PFI building contract!

Never once has he mentioned meetings with EU by himself to discuss what? Oh I know BRINO, customs union and single market.

At least when in power he can mothball the nuclear button, stand down our army and have a national HAMAS/IRA/Russia day!

As you can probably tell I really donít like him 😀

Wow, a lifetime of wasted votes, swinson the woman that said she will ignore the referendum result, mind you she leads a party that has been largely ignored for decades.

Interesting about your Liberal background and preference Ken. I have been brought up in a labour strong hold, through and through. I wouldnít vote for that **** Corbin if he was the last politician on the planet. What a total ****

Agree with you about Corbyn, Keith, but having been brought up a Liberal (and a liberal) and voting thus on every occasion, I am not going to change now...

...though I agree; politics in the accepted sense of the word is broken. As I have posted previously, I fear for the youth of this country. I thank God that me and the missus are in our 8th decade. I would hate to be growing up in this poisonous, fractured country. In fact, the older generation of politicians are past it so for me Jo is just the right age. Let's give youth a chance. Let's face it; the ancients have ****ed it up good style.

As for hobbies, what about Boris and his buses (and I don't mean the one with the great big lie on it).
